Who Am I?

My name is Nathaniel Jackson. Four years ago, a torn meniscus unexpectedly opened my eyes to the beauty and depth of photography. When I needed an outlet to channel my frustration and find peace, I turned to the 18–55mm lens of my Canon EOS Rebel T6. And through it, I discovered a new way of seeing the world. Having been an athlete for as long as I can remember, my focus had always been on competition and performance. But photography became my refuge—a quiet space away from the pressures of the field, the classroom, the office, and the everyday rush of life. It has allowed me to slow down, reflect, and capture the moments often overlooked. Through the art of image-making, I’ve learned to expand my horizons and connect with the world in new ways. My mission is to share my work with others and, in doing so, spark the same sense of curiosity and wonder that photography has inspired in me.
